Dell Client Configuration Toolkit (CCTK) is a Dell utility for configuring and managing BIOS/UEFI and select hardware settings on Dell commercial client systems. Designed for IT administrators, it enables scripted, repeatable changes to system settings during imaging, provisioning, and ongoing management—reducing manual intervention and improving consistency across fleets.

Key capabilities:

  • Query and set BIOS/UEFI options such as boot sequence, virtualization, power management, and wireless controls.
  • Configure security features including administrator and system passwords, TPM, and Secure Boot.
  • Automate deployment through command-line scripts and integrate with enterprise management tools for large-scale rollouts.
  • Run in Windows, Windows PE, and Linux environments to support a variety of deployment workflows.

Note: Dell Client Configuration Toolkit is a legacy tool. For newer platforms and features, Dell recommends using Dell Command | Configure, which supersedes CCTK.

Dell Client Configuration Toolkit is developed by Dell and is used by 39 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 1.1, 1.2, 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2. The names of program executable files are cctkgui.exe, DBRM.exe and DBRM_XP.exe.
